The motorcycle drag racing world lost a good one over the weekend. RIP Shawn “F-Bomb” Welch. Enjoy this nice video that CycleDrag put together of the late Hayabusa drag racer.

“Cycledrag.com is saddened to report the sudden passing of nitrous HAYABUSA drag bike racer and all around great guy, Shawn Welch, who rode the popular “F-Bomb” no wheelie bar drag bike. As a tribute we will take you back to the Man Cup Motorcycle drag race at Darlington Dragway where Welch won the event, beating a Yamaha drag sled in the final and spoke with us from the lanes and the winner’s circle. Ironically, this race video from Fall was put together just hours before Shawn’s untimely passing. In fact we posted on Instagram a video previewing the video and tagged Shawn on Facebook. We were excited for him to watch it. Waking up to the news that Shawn had passed overnight was devastating. Thoughts and prayers go out to Shawn’s family. Godspeed Shawn.”
