The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office said deputies searched his vehicle after smelling an odor of marijuana, finding half a pound of weed, a loaded gun, and $7,000 in cash. The defensive back tearfully pleaded with deputies while in custody, at one point asking if he could get off if his passenger took the blame.”
