VIDEO: Challenger SRT8 Wrecks At 160mph During Police Chase | Driver Ejected

Watch this Dodge Challenger SRT8 attempt to flee from Arkansas State Police during a traffic stop. Initially the 6.1L Hemi V8 powered muscle car was able to put some decent distance between himself and the pursuing Trooper. The suspect’s luck would soon run out as he attempted to take a curve at approximately 160mph, the car lost control and wrecked hard into an adjacent ditch. “The investigation to this pursuit is ongoing. Desmond Rowe, 31, of Lake Village died about 8:49 p.m. Sunday when the 2010 Dodge Challenger he was driving wrecked on Arkansas 208 near Dermott (Chicot County). According to a preliminary Arkansas State Police report, Rowe was driving west at a high rate of speed and failed to negotiate a left-hand curve in the roadway. His car exited the north side of the highway and struck an embankment, overturning and ejecting the driver. The car came to rest upright, facing west in the roadside ditch. The weather was clear and the road was dry. Sgt. Dakotah Bailey investigated the wreck. Rowe’s death was the fourth motor vehicle fatality in the Dermott area this weekend. Three people died in a two-vehicle collision on U.S. 165 on Friday afternoon.”
