I swear 2023 is getting off to a fast start. Famed Rally Car driver/co- founder of DC Shoes, Ken Block, has tragically passed away at the age of 55. Block was involved in a snowmobile accident in Utah yesterday. Sources say that while out riding Block snowmobile up-ended and landed on top of him resulting in his untimely death. We want to send prayers out to the Block family and the entire Hoonigan nation as they deal with this unimaginable loss.
“Tonight we learn that legendary sports star and drive Ken Block has passed away at the age of 55. Ken Block was an American professional rally driver with the Hoonigan Racing Division, formerly known as the Monster World Rally Team. Block was also one of the co-founders of DC Shoes.[4] He also competed in many action sports events, including skateboarding, snowboarding, and motocross. After selling his ownership of DC Shoes, Block shifted his business focus to Hoonigan Industries, an apparel brand for auto enthusiasts. He was the co-owner and “Head Hoonigan In Charge” (HHIC) at the company before his death”
