A man suspected of stealing a motorcycle has died after a horrific crash during a police pursuit. The accident was seen live on CBS Los Angeles as the rider attempted to flee police. While crossing through an intersection the motorcycle struck a Kia sedan sending the rider flying through the air, killing him instantly. The passengers of the Kia survived the impact but did sustain non-life threatening injuries.
“A motorcyclist riding what was suspected to be a stolen motorcycle died on Thursday when traveling at extremely high speeds. The vehicle was being followed by LAPD, who noted that the bike was stolen, when he crashed head-on into another vehicle causing the biker to launch into the air.”
