VIDEO: Ford Mustang Leads Tesla Police Car On High Speed Chase!

This is my first time seeing a Tesla police cruiser in action. Apparently this Ford Mustang driver did not have time to chat with the cops as he ditched his passenger and hit the gas. The officer driving his Tesla Model Y Police cruiser was able to close the distance easily multiple times almost cornering him at one point. The Mustang continued to flee at a very high rate of speed causing the officer to eventually call the pursuit off. Im an ICE guy, but in the Tesla’s defense it definitely showed that these electric vehicles are capable keeping up in a high speed pursuit. I think in this case the officer was thinking more about the safety of the public in his decision to stop.
